Chan & Deanne's Engagement Shoot

A few weekends ago, Danielle had an engagement shoot that I tagged along on. The couple won a free session at a past bridal fair. They were a bit nervous at first, but seemed to open up throughout the shoot. We started off at Walter B Williams Pond, and then went to another location. Here are some of the better shots I took!

The three ring photos were my favorite, and I could not figure out which edited one I liked better.

Sunflowers

So I have sunflowers in my yard, it was my first attempt at being a gardener. Instead of letting them go to waste, I opted to take a few photos of them. These were my first photos playing with my new flash. I purchased an SB2600 to with my camera. I am still learning how to make adjustments. Instead of leaving these pictures raw, I decided to edit them a little more dramatic. Enjoy! :-)

Portraits

I have been playing a bit, and practicing with portraits. I love taking pictures of babies, and find there is so much said through their eyes! I am still having so much fun practicing all sorts of different shoots!

Michael & Julie Carter

I went to the wedding of one of my best girlfriends from GC&SU, Julie, this past weekend. It took me about half of the wedding and reception to realize I had my settings wrong, but I guess that is all part of learning! Here are a few photos from Julie's big day!

Been A While!

It's been a while since my last post, but that does not mean I haven't been behind the camera. I helped Danielle with two engagement shoots in August, but do not have permission to publish the photos yet. I have been working on learning my functions, F-stops, and ISO ratings lately, and am really beginning to understand it (I think). Here are a few photos I have taken lately. Enjoy!
