Ella Grace Deegan

It seems to be the time of year for major life events within my circle of friends! My friends from waaaay back in 4th grade gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Friday evening.  I made my way up to Atlanta Saturday evening to meet this little girl.  Both parents are shutterbugs, but it's always nice to have someone show up and take pictures of your baby while you get a shower...or at least I would think so! Everyone-Meet Ella!

I was privileged to capture the special moments of Brandi & T's wedding this past weekend in Sparta.  The wedding was beautifully decorated with peacock feathers and colors to match, the bride was stunning her her flowing gown, the groom wore a blissful grin throughout the day, and everyone enjoyed themselves!  The newlyweds are off enjoying as many rib shacks as they can find and *~*hopefully*~* some snow, so I wanted to share a quick preview of their day! Boy, I didn't realize how long it has been since I last posted.  I guess the holidays will do that to you! In an effort to play catch-up, I am going to do a few quickie posts!

One of my very best friends got engaged a few weeks ago, and her fiance' had things planned down to a T!! With family and friends behind her (literally & figuratively) she said YES! Cooper wrote a song, made a guest list, laid the rose petals, and fooled Heather into showing up for her own proposal.  I was one of the lucky ones who got to be down in the sanctuary instead of on the balcony while everything went on.  Here are a few pictures from their special night! Congrats Heather & Cooper-I love you both so very much! 

The Bailey Families

The Bailey families came to me for Christmas pictures about a week ago.  Once we got past the cold, the rain, and the door that wouldn't open, we got some pretty good family shots!  You probably recognize half of this crew, and the other half are cousins.  Enjoy the preview!

Pomp & Circumstance

My little sister graduated yesterday, and I am so very proud of her! I just want to brag on her for a second, because she is simply amazing! She graduated Magna Cum Laude with OODLES of honors and awards.  She has had her hands in just about every aspect of Georgia Southern, and it seems like everyone on campus knows her! From Mass Com Student of the Year to Dean's List to mission work in Argentina/Greece/Michigan and more-Jamie Dee is one awesome chick.  Tomorrow, she jet sets off to San Francisco for a celebratory week with our Grammy-going to see Wicked & Cirque De Solei, munching her way through China Town, and so much more! Congrats Little Sister-your Big Sis loves you to the stars!

Another Fun Family Shoot!

I had the pleasure of photographing another one of my coworkers and her family this weekend! It was a fun shoot looking for birds and dinosaurs with the boys, and it never fails to amaze me how small a world it really is!  M Family-your house and property are gorgeous! Enjoy the previews :-)

Quick Christmas Preview!

Oh Savannah...how much I love this little girl.  She is adorable in all the right ways, and is wonderful for the camera! I must admit I am a little partial though-considering she is my niece.  Amy and I had a good time getting her to look towards the camera (although I also like the ones where she looks away) with little tricks and games.  Enjoy this holiday preview of one of the cutest kids I know!
